Artists

Hiroshi Nomura
“Doppelopment” is a turn of phrase created by artist Hiroshi Nomura where he has combined Doppelgänger, the German term that refers to an apparition or double of a living person, with Development, the English word that denotes the process by which a photographic image is made visible. In previous works, such as “Slash” and “Invisible Ink,” Nomura has explored the ambiguous boundary between reality and fantasy. For his brand new works presented in this exhibition, Nomura has made his own twin daughters his subjects.
