This exhibition presents around 85 sixteenth to eighteenth century European oil paintings from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum in Russia. Titian, Cranach, Rubens, Rembrandt, Fragonard… the so-called “Old Masters,” were the favorite artists of Catherine the Great and their works are some the most appreciated pieces in the museum collection.
