This event has ended.

This brand new group exhibition series titled “Ascending Art Annual” focuses predominantly on highly anticipated rising female artists who are expected to impact the art scene in the near future, embodying the concept of the upward spiral that is at the heart of this architectural space. The inaugural exhibition will address how we respond when we meet strangers.
The first time we encounter someone, we attempt to form a general picture by gauging them based on the information we get from their appearance, relying on our understanding of what is typical or expected and passing judgments based on prejudice. This exhibition encourages a broadening of the mind and the imagination through the works of five as yet fairly unknown artists all working in different media and taking diverse approaches.
