The 2015 exhibition “Bichutsu” celebrating the 80th anniversary of Fujio Akatsuka’s birth with works by 20 artists including Takashi Murakami and Tomoo Gokita paying homage to the manga artist created quite a stir. In addition to works from the “Bichutsu” show, this exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of Akatsuka’s series “Tensai Bakabon” and “Moretsu Ataro” this year with rare reproductions of illustrations featuring signature characters such as Osomatsu-kun and Himitsu no Akko-chan. Experience the story of these two pivotal series in the career of a beloved manga artist. Limited-edition merchandise will also be available.
