Everybody Smile! Canada

Embassy of Canada Prince Takamado Gallery
Finished
This year Canada celebrates 150 years of Confederation. This is an important milestone for the nation, and one that provides a unique opportunity to strengthen the sense of what it means to be Canadian both at home and abroad. Canada is blessed with rich history, heritage and diversity. From their English, French and Indigenous roots, they have opened their doors to cultures around the world and their diversity has become their strength. Through this exhibit playing on the smiles of Canadian people you will experience a glimpse of Canada - its tradition of ingenuity and culture of innovation, natural wonders, vibrant cultural scene, diversity and world-class talent. In particular, it will highlight four important themes for the country: diversity and inclusiveness, reconciliation with Indigenous peoples, youth and environment. This is a chance to reflect on what it means to be Canadian and catch the spirit of Canada through the welcoming smiles of Canadians.
