Gaku Onogi
Gaku Onogi (1924–1976) was an award-winner children’s book illustrator and painter who lived in Nerima Ward. The Nerima Art Museum’s collection contains more works by him than any other artist. Focusing on picture book and other illustrations from the museum’s collection, this exhibition revisits Onogi’s work with his simple pencil illustrations, playful collages, painted prints, and other works.
