Newroom exhibits new works by “Spew,” a music and publishing label formed by the internationally acclaimed Japanese photographers Daisuke Yokota, Naohiro Utagawa, and Koji Kitagawa. In 2017 they held “Spew Photo Exhibition at Ginza,” a groundbreaking live performance using projections and sound art at Ginza Promenade Gallery. Here they present experimental installations in which sound waves are incorporated as a medium in inflated black balloons. On the last day of the exhibition there will be a live performance and the launch of Spew’s new zine.
