Explore the here and now of painting through works by seven artists who have spent the last two decades, from the 1990s to the 2000s, developing the foundations of this genre. Each of these distinct painters also has a special connection to the Tama area, where this museum is located. Enjoy the diversity of these works that vary greatly both the in terms of format and size, encompassing representational paintings, abstract compositions, and large-scale pieces. The artist talks held on the weekends come highly-recommended (in Japanese only).
