Ends in 23 days

Takuya Ikezaki has lived in various places, having grown up in Tokushima on the island of Shikoku before attending Musashino Art University in Tokyo, and later studying abroad in China. As a result, he has experienced many very different environments and landscapes, while always searching for his place within these. Ikezaki typically produces works using everyday objects and landscapes from a specific place and culture, creating a kind of signpost useful for grounding himself in each locale. In this exhibition, however, he will focus on recipes, overwriting his own aspirations, desires, and aims and instead using these as a method for processing all that he comes into contact with.
