Finished

Artists

Tadasuke Iwanaga
According to Mexican architect Luis Barragán, when he built his home, he did so thinking “my house is a refuge for my mind.” In this short sentence alone, key words and phrases such as architecture, urban planning, Barragán, house, refuge for the mind shelter are brought together. For Tadasuke Iwanaga, “Evacuation” suggests a “(happy) premonition”. This exhibition follows on from previous exhibitions he has curated to date: “Freedman X Universality” (2009) and “intellect” (2010).
