Artists

Setsu Asakura, Yukie Ishikawa, Keison Ushida et al.
Running simultaneously and in conjunction with the museum’s Fumiko Hori Exhibition, this show comprised of works from the collection is organized around the themes journeying and the seasons. Many artists have spent their lives traveling the world and producing abundant paintings, just as Hori has done throughout her lifetime, visiting places both close to home and further afield in order to see how nature and the local scenery changes with seasons. This exhibition will include everything from oil paintings, to Japanese-style nihonga works, prints, sculptures, and contemporary artworks, inviting you to journey round the exhibition space while taking in the tranquil atmosphere of Hayama during winter and spring.
