Found: 191 Rolls and 22 Years

Artists

Atsushi Tezuka, Makiko Nawa, Kyoko Ota
This exhibition started when Atsushi Tezuka found a box of negatives in a used bookshop. Although not taken by a famous photographer, the 191 rolls carefully record the times and places they were shot from the end of the war through around 1975. These images simultaneously induce nostalgia and remind us of our lives today. Atsushi Tezuka, Makiko Nawa, and Kyoko Ota have each selected images for exhibition, creating their own “dialogues” with the original photographer.
