In The Void, Sayo Nagase explores a series of snapshots she has taken over the course of ten years by recapturing women’s legs on the contact sheets through a microscope. The results are blurred close-ups of human parts, in which the textures resemble outer space canals or astronomical surfaces. The series of photographs are a new experimental installation that lures us to the infinite outer space. In accordance with this exhibition, Sayo will launch her new photography book, “The Void.”
