Days Japan Photography Exhibition 2017: Living on the Earth, Creating a Future

Lifestyle Design Center
Finished
Days Japan established the “Days International Photojournalism Grand Prize” in 2005. As Japan’s first ever high-profile photojournalism award, the internationally acclaimed competition evaluates work from the perspective of “the dignity of man and nature” and “the position of the victims.” This exhibition will present award-winning works from the competition this year.

Right at this moment there are people around the globe living life in the face of harsh realities, and it is images captured by photojournalists through their viewfinders that undeniably offer a true representation of this. Even under such circumstances, people throughout the world live their days to the full as much as those here in Japan. For many, this exhibition will offer the first step in facing up to and thinking about the problems that are occurring around the world.

Furthermore, there will be a photography exhibition titled “Natural disasters around the world and the people they affect, as told by Photojournalists” presented simultaneously at the 3F Lifestyle Studio Gallery.
