Science Centre World Summit 2017: No Choice? The Earth – Sold Out!

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation
Finished
What would you do if you knew that the lifestyle you are enjoying right now is not sustainable?
If we don’t change the way we live now, we may soon deplete all natural resources available on Earth denying future generations many choices we enjoy today.
With the aim to protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity, the United Nations set out 17 Goals for Sustainable Development that it strives to achieve by the year 2030.
What should we know, and what choices should we make to ensure that these goals are achieved?
The panel exhibit discusses our consumption behavior, and offer visitors the opportunity to share their ideas and opinions on a message board that will be part of the exhibit. In addition, by experiencing the hands-on exhibit “Backward from the Future”, situated next to the panel, visitors can think about the science, technology and lifestyles that will make global sustainability a reality.
