Tokyo Midtown Design Hub 68th Exhibition: JAGDA Student Grand Prix 2017

Tokyo Midtown Design Hub
Finished
The JAGDA Student Grand Prix is a nationwide poster design competition for students at high-school level or above. The Japan Graphic Designers Association calls for poster works on a different theme each year. Outstanding works are selected and awarded in a screening by seven JAGDA member designers. This year’s theme was “food.” Food is not only essential to us, it is also a culture linked with countries and regions, and a pressing social problem. The students considered this subject from various standpoints and angles, and expressed those views on posters. The exhibition presents 129 pieces that were selected and awarded, including the Grand Prix work, all under one roof. By all means observe the expressiveness of the next-generation responsible for the future of Japan’s graphic design.
