In his third solo exhibition at the gallery, Nobuhiro Nakanishi will introduce his unique approach by focusing once again on his representative series “Layer Drawing” and “Stripe Drawing,” which fully encompass his concepts and methodologies. “Layer Drawing” is a three-dimensional sculpture expressing the passage of time that constantly changes depending on the environment in which it appears. By walking around the work, which fills the gallery space, viewers can expand awareness of their body within varying spatial/temporal dimensions. Through movement of both the body and the gaze, visitors can also experience the continual flow of time.
