Yozo Hamaguchi

Yozo Hamaguchi, one of Japan’s most important print artists, developed a method of color mezzotint printing that is both highly time and labor intensive. At first glance his landscapes and motif-centered works seem painted by brush, but upon closer inspection reveal compositions of tiny dots. This exhibition presents 45 of Hamaguchi’s copperplate prints with their details enlarged, revealing the passion and skill of his technique.

Hours	11:00-17:00 Opens at 10:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the summer, New Year holidays and in between exhibitions.
Notice	Open until 20:00 on the first and third Friday of the month.

Fee

Adults ¥600, University and High School Students ¥400, Junior High School Students and Under free.
