First exhibition ever to focus on the work of Tetsu Taoshita, a theater director active role at the forefront of European theater, where the world’s opera scene is said to be experiencing an “age of direction.” In addition to videos and panel displays introducing past works such as “Madama Butterfly” and “The Temple of the Golden Pavilion,” there will be invaluable materials, including musical scores and direction notes, used by Taoshita at the time of the performances on display.
