Ken Hori “Vibrations of the Earth”

Artists

Ken Hori
The first major exhibition of new works in seven years by Showa-kai artist Ken Hori. Since retiring as an art department professor at Hiroshima City University four years ago, Hori has been able to more closely pursue the essence of his work, and through the canvas he conveys the energy that comes to the surface of his daily practice. His paintings in “Vibrations of the Earth” express fierce and ephemeral moments in the natural world while continuing to incorporate his long-time theme of human life. Forty works focused on water motifs are exhibited.
