Shokki + Eunice Luk “Pretty much folk craft”

Utrecht / Now Idea
Finished

Artists

Shokki, Eunice Luk
Approximately 70 tableware items on the theme of folk art will be presented at this first exhibition to present collaboration works by handmade ceramics label Shokki and Canadan artist Eunice Luk. What they have created is not just tableware - your average cups, wine glasses and plates that can be found in any home - but also brushes, colanders, hot water bottles and all sorts of items you would not expect to be ceramic. Created through the filter of “folk art,” their work leaves a margin for uniqueness, suggesting a new sense of value.
