Jean-Vincent Sénac
This exhibition produced by designer Katsumi Komagata presents the work of Jean-Vincent Sénac, a Paris-based French illustrator known for his extremely humorous flip books. Komagata and Sénac encountered each other through their respective books initially. Visiting Sénac’s booth at the an annual children’s book fair in Montreuil, Paris, in 1994, Komagata was surprised that someone as large as Sénac (who is 190 cm tall) was making such small books. The two artists have now known each other for more than 20 years. At this exhibition you will be able to handle Sénac’s flip books and enjoy seeing the illustrations jump out at you.
