This is the second “Impacts!” exhibition organized with support from Mizuma Art Gallery, the first being “Impacts! Hazumi
Gallery Ohrin” presented in 2016. On this occasion the work of three artists will be introduced: Yoshitaka Amano, O Jun, Ai Yamaguchi. Amano, who has worked on character design for titles such as “Final Fantasy,” will present a masterpiece more than 10 meters in length. Inspired by glimpsed scenes, chance encounters and images from television, O Jun’s world is depicted through a range of materials and techniques, including oil painting and drawing. Meanwhile, Yamaguchi uses delicate yet clear lines along with a vivid palate to paint images of cute yet empowered girls onto shells and thick futon-like canvases.
