Mini Yoshino
Mini Yoshino was born in Tokyo in 1971 and entered the Painting Department at Hongik University in Seoul, Korea in 2003 before traveling to Paris to study at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts as an exchange student from 2005. After returning to Japan she married musician Mickey Yoshino, all the while continuing her artistic activities both at home and abroad. Her unique view of the world is shaped not only by painting, but also by music, film, and various other areas of culture.
Here Yoshino introduces approximately 30 works, comprised of large-scale paintings, 2m assemblages, and video works.
