Presenting works made with a fresh approach to a traditional art form by Keitaro Matsui, who majored in lacquer art as a graduate student at Tokyo University of the Arts. “Find Out,” his installation of lacquered wooden keys, evokes the complex excitement of imagined possibility when opening a lock.
