Artists

Keiichi Tanaami
1960 was an important turning point in the history of postwar Japanese graphic design, and Keiichi Tanaami was one of the key artists working at this time. He has held solo exhibitions all over the world and continues to be an active force that young successors struggle to keep up with. Various upcoming items from numerous collections will be presented here alongside art works that demonstrate his vigorous creative power. This includes “Hatena chan” items, based on the female character he created in the 1960s, that are presented in public here for the first time.

Venue: 1F Book Floor, Building 2, Daikanyama Tsutaya Store
