This exhibition will present Tayo Ito’s proposal for a new kind of lifestyle on Omishima Island, one of the islands in the Setouchi Inland Sea area. The island has hosted many visitors since 2011 with the opening of the Toyo Ito Museum of Architecture, Imabari. In addition to showcasing various works produced to date, this exhibition will introduce ten new projects proposed for 2017 through photographs, models and videos. The design concept model for the 05GEN assisted mobility vehicle developed by Yamaha Motor Company will also be on display at the venue.
