United People
As the number of independent movie theaters has decreased in recent years, some independent films have missed screening opportunities. On the other hand, multiplex cinemas where big film titles are screened regularly have increased in number. In the face of these facts, some people have begun creating alternative places to distribute and share independent films, their activities becoming a type of civil movement. These new ‘cinema movements’ have the potential to create and develop new communities and identities. This exhibition will offer visitors new experiences through future forms of cinema.
