The Kanzan Curatorial Exchange series wonders, “What do documentary media like photography and video preserve?” The special qualities of images give them expressive abilities, but there are also things they struggle to convey. Yukiko Iioka, who researches documentary techniques, and artist Yuki Harada, who focuses on the relationships between artists and artworks, will each present a solo exhibition exploring documentation and expression.
