Mari Ito
Mari Ito has an atelier in Barcelona, Spain and is influenced by the architecture of Gaudi as well as the arts local to the Catalonia region. “Itomarismo” is a title the artist has coined based on the word “Modernisme,” which refers to a unique art and literature movement that emerged from the Catalonia region. Combining such influences with her background in Japanese-style painting, she produces works that attract many fans. This exhibition will present a lineup of new works by Ito.
