Chie Kitazawa “Landscapes that counter-attack”

Musee Ginza_Kawasaki Band Design
Finished

Artists

Chie Kitazawa
This exhibition reflects Chie Kitazawa’s strong sympathies with journalist and writer Yo Henmi’s (1944-) work “Rebellious landscapes” (1997). Here she presents landscapes from around the work that show signs of counter-attack, such as Beijing, Chernobyl, Uganda, these works considered by critics to be non-fiction paintings demonstrating harsh realities.
