“Tokyo Lovers” is a series of photographic portraits of women that Chikashi Kasai began shooting in 2011. His depictions of these 60 or so female subjects reflect eros, exposing the sex of these women, through records of the day-to-day, encouraging viewers to think about the nature of intimate relationships. In addition to some of the works published in the “Tokyo Lovers” photo book, there will be more than 200 new works on show. Three large format photographs approximately two meters in length are among the 500 images on exhibit.
