This is the first exhibition at this gallery by Nagoya-based painter Fumi Imamura, who produces paintings and drawings depicting plants using a unique method that incorporates beeswax. It is the second show by Shoko Morita, who held a solo exhibition at Waitingroom in 2015. Morita has a unique background, having studied video and ceramics in addition to painting. This exhibition addresses the two artists’ approach to painting. The event will be held simultaneously with “Yebisu Art Labo” in Nagoya.
