Fujiyoshi Brother’s use acrylic paint to produce vibrant contemporary paintings with a powerful sense of urgency. The works, which leave a strong impression on the viewer, are unbound by fixed concepts or frameworks that already exist within painting. A number of unique and playful works based on Hanafuda Japanese playing card motifs - a long-standing theme in Fujiyoshi Brother’s works - will be on exhibit.
