Presenting works by undergraduate and postgraduate students of Japanese-style nihonga painting at Kyoto University of Art and Design. This exhibition series, which is now it its 14th edition, began in 2004 in order to promote the work of these young painters. Having studied in Kyoto, the work of these students embraces inherited traditions alongside new ideas and approaches to expression.
