Artists

Michiko Hamada
Whether you’re alone or with people, your consciousness can drift in various directions depending on the circumstances of the situation. Based of photographs of people she knows taken in day-to-day settings, Michiko Hamada produces woodcut prints that capture the stories and memories related to those she shoots. By looking at people in this new dimension it seems that Hamada is able to discover something she was previously unconscious of. See for yourself what her prints reveal.
