We are constantly making things, whether we are aware of it or not, but at the same time also repeating acts of destruction on a daily basis. The title of this exhibition communicates uncertainty, referring to the concrete walls that have been erected in Japan in recent years due to the volume of natural disasters occurring. These walls, which residents are often unaware of, surround towns like Ishinomaki Ogatsu in the Tohoku area, where the works by Takeshi Kimura presented in this exhibition have been produced.
