The Emon Award is a public competition focusing on artists bringing new waves of creativity to photography and film. The sixth Emon Award presents exhibitions by two artists. Hiroshi Okamoto documents a friend who has been infamous in Japanese society since an incident in 2004. His work explores intolerance towards others in contemporary society, telling stories through photography and archives.
