Initially conceived 25 years ago, this work is the first film to be produced by Sion Production, the company founded by this talented director. It is set in a universe where the number of humans has decreased drastically due to their devastating mistakes causing large-scale disasters. Machines dominate this universe where human beings are now recognized as an endangered species soon to be extinct. Android Yoko Suzuki is a courier who travels through the galaxy on a rented spacecraft to deliver packages to humans. One day she must travel to a planet known as “The Wispering Star,” where it is rumored that if one makes a sound larger that 30 decibels, the humans there will die… This unique science fiction masterpiece was shot in Fukushima following 3.11.
