Ayune Shojima
Ayune Shojima will present a selection of new wall-mounted paintings as well as freestanding screens in this, her third solo exhibition at the gallery. Shojima’s works abound with depictions of everyday scenes of flora and fauna; you can see buds and flowers in full bloom, as well as withering petals. The beginning and end of these life cycles are depicted with vibrant colors and an drawn out touch that makes you aware of the richness of everyday things that are so often overlooked.
