Five to six new works by Kiyoko Abe and Shizuko Hotokebuchi, two Nihonga painters known for the impressive beauty of their lines in ink. Abe evokes the light and shadows of the human heart and the brilliance of life with her versatile brushwork, while Hotokebuchi creates a sense of transparency through an economical use of the color white.
