In addition to shooting commercial projects, Yusuke accepts individual requests from car owners to photograph their beloved automobiles. As a fellow car enthusiast, Yusuke captures not only the material object but also the affection their owners have for them. He approaches his compositions generously, incorporating memorable places, impressive locations in particular, as well as seasons and time periods into the frame. In this way every single one of Yusuke’s works is dramatic, expressing the endearing aspects of each cherished model.
It is no coincidence that all of these famous and highly sophisticated cars is a beautiful example of an industrial product. It is the fact that they are loved that makes them different. And it is this love that makes them beautiful. As creatures that age over time, there is a transience in their irreplaceable existence, making the owners’ affection that much more genuine.
