This event has ended.

Sebastian Masuda, who has established a career in the world of theater and contemporary art, has been based out of Harajuku since 1995, his work closely linked with the “kawaii” culture this area is famous for. While working as an art director in Japan, he has held various overseas solo exhibitions from 2014 onward, in locations including New York. This exhibition will present brand new works from his series “Colorful Rebellion,” which brings together various colorful materials that typically exist in the world, as well as popular works such as “Thank you all” and “Day dream,” which have featured on the covers of 2017 diary planners, and “Your bear,” a work created from soft toys. See these iconic pieces from recent years in the flesh.
