60 Years of the Takeo Desk Diary

Mihoncho Honten
Finished
Sixty years have passed since the first Takeo Desk Diary was first made in 1958, for the calendar year 1959. Many creators have invested their time and skill in it over the years during a period that corresponds with the history of postwar Japanese design, with considerable craftmanship and skill going into its printing and binding.
The exhibition presents all 60 editions, including the 2018 edition, as well as production details for the whole series and footage of the bookbinding process.
See for yourself how Takeo Desk Diary has developed over the course of six decades.
