On display are selected Japanese-style paintings and oil paintings from the Sato Museum of Art collection that depict human figures. Why is it that painters through the ages have chosen to paint people? When it comes to contemporary paintings there are various reasons for, and ends to which, artists choose to represent people. Their manner of expression is equally diverse. This exhibition will present a range of works featuring people.
