Fujisawa Art Republic

Fujisawa City Art Space
Finished
The city of Fujisawa is home to public artworks by several important Japanese sculptors, including Churyo Sato, Goro Suganuma, and Hirokatsu Takata. Fujisawa City Art Space is launching a survey of public art around the city with the aim of producing a citywide map and book in 2020. This exhibition introduces photographs and other materials from the survey, plus information on public art from museum visitors. Students of Multidisciplinary Design Science at Shonan Institute of Technology will create a film about the unusual sculptures and scenes found through the public art information. Enjoy public art at a deeper level while seeing Fujisawa from many angles.
