Tatsuo Ikeda
Displaying Tatsuo Ikeda’s pen illustrations and sketches from the 1950s and 1960s. Seven drawings from the 1950 Yomiura Independent Exhibition, when the artist was 22, and 13 works from his “Jazz Window” series of 1961 are featured. The Jazz Window illustrations were created for a jazz event of the same name organized by the poet Hajime Kijima. Ikeda created them along with fellow artist Aquirax Uno.
