Yutaka Murakami
Yutaka Murakami (b. 1936) worked as a cover illustrator for the novel-focused magazine Shosetsu Gendai for more than 50 years. He continues to be full of fresh creative ideas into his eighties, warmly depicting favorite themes such as cute children and animals, landscapes, spirits, fairies, and Shinto and Buddhist deities in his hand-painted works. For his seventh exhibition at Wako Hall, Murakami presents around 80 colorful ink and oil paintings on the theme of flowers.
