“Glimmer” showcases watercolor paintings by Karin Takiguchi and paintings in acrylic by Yuka Goto, which has all been specially produced for this exhibition.
Takiguchi is an artist from Yamagata prefecture who currently lives and works in Yamagata City. This is her second exhibition with Hiromart Gallery, following hot on the heels of her favorably received Tokyo debut solo exhibition “R1m – The world within a radius of 1 meter.” Takiguchi’s paintings can be said to have a nostalgic appeal.
Tokyo-based Goto is known as a painter and comic artist. Hiromart Gallery has been introducing her works two- and three-dimensional paintings since 2011.
