The first event in a series about the traditions of craftsmanship in Ota City, Gunma Prefecture spotlights the button company Iris, which has a branch in Ota. In addition to the company’s large international collection of rare buttons, this exhibition features text and images by the Akutagawa Prize-winning Gunma resident Akiko Itoyama and the Ota-based photographer Atsushi Yoshie from their visit to the Ota button factory.
